My art practice spans painting, installation and interaction. I believe that all beings, objects and Earth inter-are and inter-be.

I employ the specificity of images and manners as an invitation into an awareness of the undifferentiated—pure consciousness, endless possibility, blue sky.

I was born and raised on a ranch in the foothills of California’s Coast Range. I now live and work in New York, NY. The first dream I remember from my childhood was that I received a mysterious box in the mail filled with ribbons, lace and fine textiles. The blue satin ribbon was perhaps the first inkling of the sky-like backgrounds that would come to dominate my paintings.

I hold an MFA from the School of Visual Arts and BA from NYU’s Studio Art department. My projects have been shown at Mass MoCA, The Shaker Museum, on the Instagram auction See You Next Thursday, and in New York City, Bangkok, Thailand and Graz, Austria.
